The 26th May marks World Lindy Hop Day! It’s a day for the worldwide swing dance community to honour and celebrate the joy of Lindy Hop, and to add to the festivities, Perth City Swing is teaching an OPEN LEVEL Specialty Class dedicated to the life and soul of the dance - Musicality! Join us for a deep dive into feeling the music and expressing it. From understanding musical structures to tips for building confidence, we'll walk you through everything you need to know to help you find your individual voice as a dancer and to look like the music sounds. Just like the incredible pioneers of Lindy Hop at the Savoy Ballroom during the Swing Era, this class will be filled to the brim with free expression, big personality, playfulness, and contagious FUN. Bring your PLAY game and get ready to learn just how joyful swing dancing can be!
